About the Apple Archives

Welcome to the Apple Archives website.  The websites listed herein are among the best archives for Apple ][ (apple2) software that was available during the 1980's.  These sites are run by a variety of folks who have dedicated a great deal of time and effort into preserving the best of the Apple II legacy.

This project began in 2000 and is an on going project.  The sites you see listed here are just the first to be listed in our efforts.  Anytime we find something in the Apple ][ world which should be added to the site, we put it into the appropriate category.  Links are updated whenever necessary and sites which disappear from the internet are added here to preserve the legacy and information.  We have also included links to sites which qualify as an authoritative resource for software or reference materials for the Apple II series.  We add external sites which qualify as authority sites only on a basis of our prerogative.  The site must both be long term and be complete in it's information. We also include sites which are Apple-1 and Apple /// specific as well in order to make the information more complete.

If you know of something which should be archived but hasn't yet received it place in cyberspace, feel free to let the webmaster at callapple dot org know about it.
